This evening tour finds it: seafood meze and black risotto in a stone konoba, njeguški pršut and cheese under the citadel walls, priganice with honey for the sweet course, and Vranac and Krstač pours at each stop as the lanes light up. Three hours, four stops and more than eight tastings — treat it as dinner. The walking is flat and easy, and the value lies in eating where the guides themselves eat, with wine poured at every stop and the old town at its lantern-lit evening best.
