Biogradska Gora protects one of only three primeval forests left in Europe — 500-year-old trees around a still glacial lake. This guided day trip pairs the classic lake loop with a forest interpretive walk, moving at a naturalist’s pace with plenty of time for photography. The lake loop is flat, shaded and family-friendly, so this is the northern day that works for every generation — botanists move slowly, kids chase the rowboats. Six easy hours in all, with transfers from Kolašin, the park fee and a naturalist guide included.
