The canyon traverse
Around 2 hours on the cable — ledges, a ladder pitch and the famous lake-view balcony.
Montenegro’s signature via ferrata traverses the cliffs high above the impossibly turquoise Piva reservoir. Clipped to a fixed steel cable with certified equipment and a licensed guide, you follow ledges, ladders and airy traverses — no climbing experience needed, just a head for heights. You need a head for heights, not climbing skills: the guide teaches the clip-through system on a practice section before the two-hour traverse. Wear grippy closed shoes and expect your forearms to notice the ladders — and with a 30–50 image photo package included, the exposure gets documented.
