High under Obla Glava at around 2,100 m hides Ledena Pećina, the Ice Cave — a chamber of ice stalagmites and columns that never melt, even in August. This guided full-day hike climbs from the Sedlo road through karst terrain to the cave mouth, descends into the frozen chamber, and loops back with massif views all day. An eight-hour mountain day with a genuine reward for escaping the crowds — sure feet matter more than speed, and headlamps for the frozen chamber are provided. Pack warm layers: it can be August on the trail and midwinter inside the cave.
