Šipčanik is a wine cellar like no other: a Yugoslav air-force tunnel 30 metres underground, now lined with two million litres of ageing wine beneath Europe’s largest single vineyard. The basic visit tours the tunnel and tastes three benchmarks — Krstač, Kratošija and Vranac Pro Corde — with Montenegrin bruschetta. The one-hour format makes it an easy add-on to any Podgorica stopover, and the tunnel’s steady cool is a mercy in summer.
