Grad teatar Budva (Theatre City)
Montenegro’s flagship summer arts festival, staged in Budva’s old town.
Founded in 1987, Grad teatar turns Budva’s walled town into a stage for six weeks each summer: drama in the squares and the citadel, poetry evenings, concerts and a long-running book programme. It is the country’s most established arts festival and the reason many people visit Budva for something other than the beach.
