Bar’s Stara Maslina has stood for over two millennia — one of the oldest trees in Europe. After visiting the heritage park around the ancient trunk, walk to the House of Olives for a guided tasting of local extra-virgin oils with bread, cheese and olives, and learn to tell peppery from buttery like a pro. Two gentle hours, all flat walking, with the heritage-park entrance and the full tasting board included. It suits curious eaters more than hardened gourmets — you will leave able to explain why fresh oil catches the throat, and probably carrying a bottle.
