Day 1 — Ground school & control
Safety, setup and flying the trainer and LEI kites.

Day 2 — Body-dragging
Power strokes and directional drags through the shallows.

Day 3 — Board starts
Waterstarts and first rides, plus certification sign-off.
The full beginner arc: three consecutive afternoons of instruction timed to the thermal wind, progressing from kite control through body-dragging to independent board starts and your first rides. Small groups of two per instructor, all equipment included, IKO level certification on completion. Committing to three days is what gets people actually riding — the course builds to independent board starts by the final session, and the IKO certification records your level for schools and rental shops worldwide. Maximum two students per instructor; bring sunscreen and patience with the wind.

Water was choppier than advertised so we spent less time snorkeling than planned. Kayaking along the cliffs at sunset was the highlight of our whole trip.
