The mountain loop
Around 30 km of forest roads and meadow tracks with a katun stop at the top.
Electric assistance flattens Bjelasica’s long climbs: ride from Kolašin up through wildflower meadows and pine forest to a working shepherd’s katun for cheese and mountain tea, with viewpoints over Biogradska Gora National Park and its glacial lake on the way down. The motor takes the sting out of roughly 30 km of forest roads, so a casual cyclist can enjoy what would otherwise be a serious mountain ride. Four hours at a sociable pace with a katun refreshment stop at the top — bring sports clothes and a small backpack.
