Montenegro Experience is an independent travel marketplace, run by locals, for travellers. We list experiences from independent local hosts across Montenegro. We don't carry books we haven't read. We don't take placements from publishers. The list is small on purpose.
How it works.
Every title here was read by at least one of us before it made it onto the list. That's both a constraint and a promise. The list will always be small. Promise: if it's here, it earned the spot.
We pay attention to small operators. We pay attention to local guides. We pay attention to the books that don't have a marketing budget but have an editor who fought for them. Those are usually the books worth keeping.
