The Ulcinj–Bar hills carry some 80,000 olive trees, many centuries old. At the Buzuku cooperative you taste through the season’s pressings with the growers themselves — grassy early-harvest to mellow late oils — mopped up with warm bread, alongside the story of the old stone mills and the autumn harvest.

Cozy konoba setting with a view that matched the food. Every course was better than the last — the seafood risotto alone was worth it. Portions were generous and the chef came out to explain each dish.
