Njeguški pršut is Montenegro’s proudest export, and it can only be made here — where mountain and sea air mix at 900 m. Visit a family smokehouse with hundreds of hams hanging in the beech smoke, learn the two-year cure, then sit down to a board of pršut, cow and sheep cheese, olives, flatbread and honey rakija.
